ICU Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and the ability to provide high-quality care to patients in critical condition.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ICU.Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and healthcare procedures.Float between different units as required, including Medical-Surgical and Emergency Departments.Shifts and SchedulingNight shifts (3x12 hours, 19:00 - 07:30).Weekends are required every other week.No block schedules.On-call standby may be required.Patient Ratios1:2 in ICU settings.1:3 for Medical-Surgical patients in ICU.1:4 in Medical-Surgical units.1:4 in the Emergency Department.QualificationsCurrent and valid RN license.Prior experience in an ICU setting is required.Emergency Department experience is strongly preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Additional InformationThis position may involve travel between multiple locations within the region.A vehicle is necessary for this assignment.No parking fees.Charting is completed using Epic software.Scrubs of any color are acceptable, with specific colors provided for certain departments.If you meet the outlined qualifications and are passionate about providing top-notch care in an ICU setting, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
