Overview
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Hawaii travel assignment in Hilo. Start date 09/21/2026 for 15 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,024-$2,086 per week. No guaranteed hours. Shift: Day shift (0630-1900), three 12-hour shifts weekly (36 hours). Setting: hospital. This travel—temporary assignment requires Hawaii licensure by start.

Responsibilities
- Provide continuous airway management, including ventilator and non-invasive ventilator support
- Manage care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients; respond to respiratory emergencies as part of the multidisciplinary team
- Collaborate with physicians, participate in rounds, and perform all aspects of respiratory care per orders
- Operate and monitor equipment such as ventilators (e.g., V60, Para Pac Transport Vent), PB 980, PB 840, and maintain related systems
- Utilize computerized charting and Pyxis medication management; document care and outcomes accurately

Requirements
- Hawaii state respiratory therapist license (or active Hawaii license by start date; applicants not currently licensed must apply upon acceptance)
- RRT credential required; BLS, ACLS, and PALS; NRP preferred
- Minimum 2 years of respiratory care experience; ability to care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations
- Must be able to work day shift in a hospital setting; three 12-hour shifts per week (0630-1900); no guaranteed hours
- Proof of flu vaccination or facility-approved medical/religious exemption required prior to contract start
- Must arrive the Thursday before start date to complete employee health requirements; no first assignments
