Responsibilities
- Provide NICU respiratory care per physician orders, including ventilator management, airway support, and adjunct therapies for neonates.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient status; adjust therapy and wean from ventilation as appropriate; administer prescribed medications and therapies.
- Collaborate with the NICU care team, participate in rounds, and respond to code situations following established protocols.
- Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment; ensure strict infection control and equipment sterilization standards.
- Document assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately; communicate changes to the care team and assist with family education as appropriate.

Requirements
- Active Georgia Licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NBRC credentials (RRT)
- AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and operate effectively in a NICU setting
- Willingness to travel and comply with assignment requirements (no local candidates within 50 miles)
