We are hiring a hands-on short-form strategist to own the idea-to-performance loop for Eric Siu's content across Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. Include “Short-form strategy is cool” in the subject line. Otherwise, your application will be disqualified.

You will turn X posts, podcasts, long-form videos, and current ideas into platform-native concepts. You will own the hook, angle, format, script or shot plan, visual treatment, editor brief, test plan, CTA, and performance review. This is a strategy and operating role, not an editing-only or advisory role.

Your work should create qualified attention, conversations, email growth, and leads. Views without business relevance are not enough.

We operate as an AI-native team. Every role uses AI to improve speed, quality, judgment, and leverage. AI output still requires strong human taste and quality control.

Your mission

Build a repeatable short-form content system that turns Eric's current ideas and long-form source material into native concepts that improve qualified engagement and lead actions.

Primary KPI: improve qualified short-form actions from the first-30-day baseline while maintaining a reliable weekly testing cadence. Qualified actions include relevant profile visits, email sign-ups, comment-keyword actions, booked calls, or attributed leads.

What you will own

• Audit current short-form performance, source content, audience, offers, and workflow.

• Build and maintain a current format and hook library for Reels, TikTok, and Shorts.

• Produce a rolling weekly slate of concepts, hooks, scripts or shot plans, visual treatments, editor briefs, and CTAs.

• Turn long-form material into original short-form ideas, not only basic cutdowns.

• Direct editors through delivery and give clear, timely feedback.

• Run structured tests across hooks, topics, formats, visual treatments, and CTAs.

• Review hold rate, completion, saves, shares, profile actions, and qualified lead actions each week.

• Keep a four-week concept backlog and document what to scale, stop, or change.

• Build AI-assisted research, scripting, briefing, and analysis workflows with clear human QA.

What success looks like

In 30 days, you have audited the system, set the baseline, built the first format library, and established a reliable editor handoff.

By 60 days, you run a steady weekly test cadence and can show which hooks, formats, topics, and CTAs work for this audience.

By 90 days, the system runs from idea selection through performance review with minimal handholding, and qualified actions have improved from the baseline.

Evidence we need to see

• Recent strategy work for B2B, AI, SaaS, business, entrepreneur, marketing, finance, podcast, or expert-led creators.

• Hands-on ownership from concept and hook through editor direction, publishing recommendation, and analytics review.

• Current knowledge of platform-native formats and why they work.

• Two recent examples with your exact contribution and the decisions you made.

• One quantified result tied to qualified engagement, email growth, booked calls, pipeline, sales, revenue, or another business outcome.

• A concrete AI-assisted workflow: trigger, inputs, tools, steps, output, QA, time saved, and the judgment that stays human.

• Clear evidence that you can coordinate a small production team without waiting for a perfect brief.

This role is not

• An editing-only seat.

• A social scheduler or community-manager role.

• A role that optimizes for views while ignoring audience quality and business outcomes.

• A role for stale format knowledge or generic templates.

• A role that waits for Eric to supply finished scripts and detailed instructions.

How the process works

1. Application and evidence review.

2. A focused screen against the role outcomes.

3. A paid exercise using one real source asset: three distinct concepts, hooks, visual treatments, script or shot-plan notes, a lead-focused CTA, and an editor handoff.

4. A live review of your choices, tradeoffs, and iteration.

5. References and final decision.

The paid exercise is timeboxed and will not be used as unpaid production work.

Work model and compensation

This is a fully remote, part-time contractor role. Applicants must state their weekly capacity, available working hours, start date, and compensation expectations.
