Giants Baseball & Softball Camps EMT/Nurse Intern Giants Baseball Camps is now hiring for an Assistant Site Director who will be the EMT/Nurse Intern for our summer youth camps in the Bay Area. Giants Summer Camps is looking for an Assistant Site Director in the Bay Area who is energetic, positive, and who loves to inspire our youth to make good choices and be accountable for their actions and decisions - all while having a great time! We provide the equipment, training, and curriculum. You provide the leadership that will help our campers have a wonderful learning experience and leave camp with a love of the game, new friends, better baseball/softball skills, and an appreciation for the importance of personal accountability. Perks Of The Job Work outdoors with young campers and connect with others who have similar interests Share knowledge of baseball/softball with campers and enhance their Giants Camps experience Make a positive difference in the lives of our youth Help young people develop a love of the game and the San Francisco Giants Be eligible for free tickets to select San Francisco Giants home games Participate in our end-of-summer rally at Oracle Park We Are Looking For Team Members Who Have experience working with children ages 4-13 Have experience coaching and/or playing baseball/softball at a high school level or higher Be CPR/AED and First-Aid certified, and California Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Licensure preferred, but not required Be interested in gaining unique experience in the healthcare field Are able to connect with children both one-on-one and in a group setting Lead by example with strong character, integrity, and a positive attitude Are dependable and reliable; someone we can count on to be there, no matter what. Know how to have a lot of fun!! Core Responsibilities Ensure a safe camp environment for all staff, campers, and parents Administer first-aid properly as needed to campers and staff, and manage inventory of first aid supplies Manage medications for campers with life‑threatening allergies and other medical needs (ex. EpiPens) and ensure that each camp coach is aware of their campers who require extra attention Communicate to parents and headquarters regarding injuries, illnesses, and incidents that occur at camp Maintain detailed health records of campers Work proactively with all camp staff to ensure that a preemptive approach is taken, in order to minimize injury and risk Work with coaches and other staff members to help resolve camper conflicts and to create a positive and friendly environment for everyone involved with the camp Assist with the production and organization of essential camp reports including attendance, employee timekeeping, and customer service‑related records Conduct health checks and provide day‑to‑day medical care Qualifications For All Coaching Positions Be prepared to make a 10 week commitment Monday‑Friday for approximately eight hours per day Giants Baseball & Softball Camps run every week from June 8, 2026 to August 14, 2026 Be prepared to travel to each site with reliable transportation of your own Be able to pass a comprehensive background screening Camp Locations include San Francisco - West Sunset and Balboa Park Danville - Osage Park Millbrae - Taylor Middle School Larkspur - Redwood High School and Piper Park Redwood City - Red Morton Park Los Gatos/Saratoga - Easterbrook Discovery School Napa - Justin‑Siena High School Palo Alto - El Camino Park Orinda - Wagner Ranch Elementary San Mateo - Sea Cloud Park Los Altos Hills - Purissima Park Burlingame - Bayside Park San Carlos - Highlands Park San Jose - Herman Intermediate School Rocklin - Johnson Springview Park Folsom - John Kemp Community Park Our Interview Process Receive an invitation to complete a one‑way interview Complete a 15 minute virtual interview with our recruiter Complete a 20 minute virtual interview with our Executive Director Final decision!
