As a Security Officer Patient Care Patrol in Mayfield Heights OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location where you will conduct routine patrols stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents and support patients visitors and staff with outstanding customer service and this people-first role you will bring reliability integrity and teamwork to each shift while helping create a welcoming environment through responsive professional presence.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings parking areas entrances and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity assist with directions and general assistance and report unusual behavior hazards and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
• Support hospital and clinic operations by remaining visible in assigned areas helping to manage foot traffic and communicating professionally with patients visitors staff and first responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Required vaccinations must be provided for this hospital location.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
