Product Demonstrator Part Time

Description The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non‑food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining knowledge of products, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies, intercepting consumers and demonstrating products in a professional manner, and maintaining an overall professional appearance. Responsibilities Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers in a positive manner. Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product. Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives. Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals. Maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements. Properly set up and prepare event table for execution. Achieve 100% execution on assigned work. Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections. Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives. Complete expense reports as per company policy. Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution. Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms. Qualifications Education / Experience: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer Skills: Proficient use of a personal computer or mobile device, including applications and internal systems. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local food handlers permit may be required. Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk during shifts, use hands and fingers, reach overhead up to 65 inches, talk and hear, visually read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up a ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden, prepare foods and beverages with required appliances, and contact cleaning supplies. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel. Physical Appearance: Ensure a professional appearance and proper grooming; meet retailer dress code requirements. Language Skills: English is primary; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
