Job Opportunity – Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker – Spokane, WA 99204

Start Date: June 8, 2026

Location: Spokane, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 4x10-hour shifts (16:00 - 02:00), every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Patient ratio of 7. Reduced orientation period with 0 non-billable hours versus standard 40 hours.

Highlights:

• Emergency Department position serving adult and pediatric populations at a 629-bed Level II Trauma Center
• Conduct crisis risk assessments for patients experiencing mental health illness and substance use disorders
• Provide level of care recommendations as consultant to ED attending providers and APPs
• Work with multidisciplinary team in a teaching hospital environment using Epic charting system
• May float to sister hospital ED performing same duties when needed
• 91-day travel assignment with competitive compensation and no parking fees

Requirements:

• Full, independent Washington state licensure as LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC (associate license does not qualify)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in clinical social work
• Experience conducting crisis risk assessments for both adult and pediatric populations
• Hospital experience preferred; Emergency Department experience highly valued
• Proficiency with Epic charting system required
• Skills in crisis intervention/management, suicide/homicide/self-harm assessment, involuntary holds, and biopsychosocial assessment
• Valid references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
