Class B Fitter Welder Pay: $22.00-$25.00/hrLocation: Collinsville, OK
Shift: Monday-Friday | 5:00 AM-3:30 PM

Job Order #: 123929 Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Class B Fitter Welder to join a manufacturing team in Collinsville. The Class B Fitter Welder will be responsible for performing fit-up and welding tasks according to blueprints, engineering drawings, and ASME code requirements. This Class B Fitter Welder position requires strong knowledge of MIG and Flux Core welding processes along with the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fabrication environment. Weld Test Requirements Candidates must pass the following test:
- 3G MIG & Flux Core weld on plate
- Downhill MIG root
- Uphill Flux Core fill and cap
- Prepare parts and tools for welding and fit-up activities
- Perform welding using FCAW and GMAW processes when directed by the supervisor
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine welding specifications
- Measure and verify dimensions using tape measures and other measuring tools
- Operate and maintain welding equipment and fabrication tools
- Use powered and manual hand tools during fabrication tasks
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
- Work overtime or weekends as required by production needs
- Experience with MIG and Flux Core welding processes
- Knowledge of ASME code requirements
- Ability to read blueprints and welding specifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to operate welding equipment and fabrication tools safely
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
