We are seeking a full-time Server/Waitress to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of Italian cuisine , provides excellent customer service, and thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will be responsible for delivering a seamless dining experience, from taking orders to ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit. This is a full-time position (5 days per week) . Candidates must be available to work weekends and holidays , and may be on call when needed. Location Requirement
We are located in Woodside, Queens (11377) . Preference will be given to candidates who live nearby and are able to arrive on short notice if needed. Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, friendly, and professional service to all guests
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and deliver them in a timely manner
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the menu, including Italian dishes and specials
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales
- Ensure tables are properly maintained and guests needs are met throughout service
- Work closely with kitchen and staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Must have previous serving experience as a waitress (5 years+ preferred)
- Knowledge of Italian cuisine preferred
- Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to carry multiple heavy dishes
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to upsell and make menu recommendations
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Full-time availability (5 days per week required)
- Must maintain a professional appearance and adhere to dress code (white dress shirt, black tuxedo-style jacket, black tie, black pants, and black shoes)
