Global Medical & Evidence Strategy Lead: Bemdaneprocel, Parkinson's Disease Bayer is advancing innovative treatments and has invested in Cell Therapy & Gene Therapy. Bemdaneprocel is an experimental cell therapy for Parkinson’s disease. This high‑impact role is part of the Global Product Leadership Team and will develop the global medical and evidence strategy for this pioneering cell therapy in Parkinson’s Disease.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Co‑create the product strategy with the Bemdaneprocel Product Team to maximize asset value and patient impact. Provide leadership to define integrated medical and evidence outcomes, ensuring launch readiness and asset differentiation. Lead the development of integrated medical affairs and evidence generation strategy, providing inputs, market insights, and stakeholder perspectives. Lead the Bemdaneprocel PT medical and evidence subteams, shaping outcomes and missions for the integrated plan. Ensure seamless communication across the PT, customer teams, and all medical and evidence stakeholders. Translate business challenges into evidence‑ and insight‑backed solutions, using traditional and innovative methods, including primary and observational research. Advance the newly initiated natural history study in Parkinson’s disease in collaboration with Bayer, BlueRock, and AskBio. Contribute to the analysis and interpretation of results from Clinical Development studies and prospective secondary observational research. Establish meaningful, sustainable relationships with global/regional Thought Leaders. Oversee planning and management of key local and global scientific symposia.

WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: Required Qualifications Medical doctor or equivalent. Deep experience in Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, and/or Evidence Generation in a global healthcare organization. Knowledge of Parkinson’s disease and related neurologic disorders, and understanding of drug development stages. Strategic and global mindset with business/financial acumen and experience in Real World Evidence. Excellent senior stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills. High learning agility and proactive knowledge expansion. Track record in managing risk, compliance issues, and accountability. Strong internal sense of accountability and continual self‑improvement. Demonstrates VACC leadership. Fluent in English, both verbal and written. Preferred Qualifications Specialty/fellowship training in Neurology/Movement Disorders or Neurosurgery. Launch experience. Experience in cell therapy. Compensation & Benefits Employees can expect a salary of $299,695 to $449,542 with additional bonus or commission opportunities.
