Kelly Science and Clinical has a new, long term temporary opportunity for an Analytical Chemist in Rochester, NY! A Long Term Temporary Opportunity Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday Pay: $25-$35/hour, depending on experience Key Responsibilities Conduct analyses using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC/UHPLC) and UV-Vis Spectroscopy. Utilize sample preparation techniques and apply basic polymer chemistry knowledge in experimental work. Generate, review, and interpret analytical data to support internal projects and regulatory compliance. Adhere to laboratory safety standards and quality protocols. Qualifications Bachelor’s in Chemistry (or equivalent) with 0–3 years of chromatography and lab experience Hands‑on HPLC/UHPLC operation Experience in method development, validation, and various sample prep techniques (e.g., extractions, SPE), given preference Understanding of analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, and polymer science Instrument maintenance and troubleshooting skills Strong technical writing and communication abilities Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
