Job Description

Lead project financials, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and overall project performance
Serve as a client‑facing leader, ensuring alignment with federal stakeholders and base personnel
Manage and mentor project teams while promoting a strong safety culture
Lead daily huddles and coordination meetings to drive communication and issue resolution
Collaborate with the Superintendent to develop and execute project schedules
Supervise a typical on‑site team of five: PM, Superintendent, Safety, PE, and QCM
Report directly to the Project Executive on site

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager - Federal Construction (Traveling) should have:

8-10 years of federal construction experience
At least five years as a Project Manager (flexible for exceptional project experience)
Experience managing $50M+ federal projects
Strong financial acumen and experience driving profitability
Comfortable with a 3‑weeks on site / 1 weekend home travel rotation
U.S. Citizenship required
Bachelor's degree not required (preferred only)
Software: MS Office
Familiarity with EM‑385 safety standards

$120K - $160k
