Surgery - General Physician

Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (with one hour unpaid lunch). Call shared with general ortho; locum will be the only spine surgeon on site.
• Job Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
• Types of Cases: Orthopaedic Surgery of the Spine. Required skills include cervical, thoracic, and lumbar surgery with instrumentation, and percutaneous disc surgery. Arthroscopy and surgery with instrumentation are preferred.
• Call: Beeper call; call ratio of 5 days/month; 20-minute call response time required; 0-4 patients seen on call; call shared with general ortho
• EMR: Cerner
• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 60 days; temporary privileges available

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or Board Eligible required; Fellowship required (3 years)
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
• Licensure: Wisconsin license required (IMLC not accepted)
