Physical Security Analyst

Job Category : Corporate Individual Contributor Physical Security Analyst – Bar Harbor Bank & Trust is seeking a Physical Security Analyst to join our team. Responsibilities will consist of being at the center of our day-to-day physical security operations—managing access and alarm system administration, reviewing security monitoring reports, responding to alerts, coordinating with security vendors, and supporting our branches and Bank personnel with security needs. The preferred location for this position is our office in Bangor, Maine however alternate locations in our footprint in Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire will be considered for qualified, experienced candidates. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include: Monitor and investigate daily physical security reports and real-time alerts. Administer employee building and alarm system access. Support badge creation and access changes associated with employee events. Monitor video surveillance system availability and alerts. Coordinate security service requests and vendor visits. Support branch alarm testing and troubleshooting. Track required branch security reporting and assist with monthly reporting. Provide day-to-day security support to Bank personnel and branches. Assist with physical security initiatives and projects, including occasional travel within the Bank’s footprint. This Physical Security Analyst role requires a candidate with the following knowledge, ability, and skills: Minimum of Associate's degree or working towards a Bachelor’s degree. Professional certifications are a plus. Minimum of three years of combined technical education and professional experience in Physical Security and/or Information Security. Demonstrate strong technical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to details and accuracy. Basic understanding of physical security systems, including access control and surveillance technologies. The compensation for this position is based on a variety of factors including experience, skills, and geographic location.
