Farm Worker

Duties may include: Prepare or service all structures, grounds and equipment during the mink harvest, pelting and breeding season. To facilitate the care and handling of mink during harvest and breeding season. Operate/facilitate/observe equipment used at various stations of care, harvest, fleshing, pelt drumming, or stretching of mink pelts. Keep grounds and equipment clean. Cleanup of all structures, grounds, and equipment at the conclusion of season & other related Farm Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2093 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work. The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate. Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range) Meals: The employer will furnish cooking facilities, utilities, and utensils for workers to prepare their own meals in the housing provided kitchen. Included basic appliances will consist of, but is not limited to, refrigerator, stove/oven, and sink with hot and cold-water connections.All appliances included will be in good, working condition for the workers. Employer will provide transportation to grocery store at least once a week for workers who wish to shop for food. Transport: The employer will provide or pay for charter bus services or other modes of transportation to H-2A or U.S. workers, or permit workers to select any means of transportation they choose and reimburse workers at no less than the most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation charges for the distances involved in traveling (a) to the place of employment from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer (i.e., inbound) and (b) from the pl...
