Pouch Machine Operator - Bay 3

Pouch Machine Operator – Night Shift (6:00 AM to 6:00 PM) About the Role To properly operate and maintain pouch packaging equipment to support safe, efficient production. What You'll Do: Operate pouch machines and related equipment (W25-1 & 2, Cryovac, L24, BIB, fillers) Load film carts and execute proper film roll installation Perform lockout/tagout and follow all safety and food safety procedures Adjust weights and settings to maintain product specifications Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues Complete production paperwork, downtime logs, and metal detection records Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble equipment (CIP/COP) Maintain clean and safe work areas What You'll Need: High school diploma or GED, plus 1-2 years of related manufacturing or production experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience). Ability to work on your feet for most of the shift and regularly bend, reach, lift, carry, and move materials, including occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Comfort working in a fast-paced production environment with noise, moisture, moving equipment, and required protective gear. Basic reading, writing, communication, problem-solving, and math skills to follow instructions and complete production paperwork. Willingness to use required tools, equipment, and safety procedures, including PPE, lockout/tagout, and machine operation systems. Pay & Benefit Pay Range (Base Pay): $22.00/hr – $24.95/hr. Other Compensation: May include shift differentials, overtime pay, bonuses, or other incentive pay as applicable to the position and location.
