Certified Veterinary Technician

Full job description Responsibilities: - Provide daily care for animals in the kennel, including feeding, watering, and cleaning - Assist with animal handling and restraint during examinations and procedures - Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinary staff - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kennel areas - Assist with grooming and bathing of animals - Walk dogs and provide exercise and socialization - Assist with basic training and behavior management of dogs - Maintain accurate records of animal care and treatment Qualifications: - Previous experience working with animals in a professional setting preferred - Knowledge of animal practices and veterinary terminology - Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately - Familiarity with pet care routines, including feeding, grooming, and exercise - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment We offer an amazing benefit package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance 401K + 4% Match + Immediate Vesting Paid Time Off In House Training & Mentoring &Continuing Education Reimbursement If you are positive, motivated and dedicated –We are looking for you!
