divh2On-The-Road CDL-A Driver/h2pPay: Depends on experience level $25/hr+/ph3Description:/h3pThis position operates tractor trailer and/or other assigned vehicles to transport freight over long distances, ensuring on-time deliveries, compliance with safety regulations, and excellent customer service. This position could require extended periods away from home on occasion./ph3Qualifications:/h3ulliHigh School Diploma or Equivalent/lili3-5 years of related driving experience/liliAbility to read, write, and comprehend English/liliCurrent Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) required./liliClean Driving Record. Must pass Clearinghouse search on a yearly basis./liliCurrent Medical Card./liliForklift and Electric Jack experience preferred. Must be able to safely manipulate vehicles around moving co-workers with extreme care./liliMust have the ability to become certified on forklift and pallet jack./liliWilling and able to work with food allergens including but not limited to peanuts, shellfish, wheat, soybeans, milk and eggs./li/ulh3Job Duties:/h3ulliPerforms required daily pre-trip and post-trip inspection checklists and immediately report any needed repairs./liliDelivers finished goods primarily to the Northeast New England Region with occasional deliveries to the Mid-west (Occasional Florida run may be required)./liliFollow all DOT rules and regulations./liliEnsure that inside and outside of vehicle is clean./liliHauls bulk, sacked, or palletized ingredients / products to customers and other company locations as directed by Logistics Manager./liliLoads and unloads materials onto or from truck by hand, forklift or electric pallet jack./liliRecord mileage from company trucks and tractors and report to supervisor./liliEnsure that trailer stand is positioned and secured when dropping a trailer at a dock./liliKeep accurate records as required manually./liliKeep accurate records of any additional information necessary for invoicing or cost analysis./liliWill be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned./li/ulh3Benefits/h3pIf hired permanently, company benefits may include:/pulli401(k)/lili401(k) matching/liliHealth insurance/liliDental insurance/liliVision insurance/liliLife insurance/liliPaid time off/liliEmployee assistance program/liliFlexible spending account/liliReferral program/li/ul/div
