Nurse Practitioner Job Title: Nurse Practitioner



Location: Benton & Henry Counties, TN



Job Type: Contract



Pay Rate: $40 to $45 per hour



Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary care services to uninsured adult patients.

  • Deliver wellness, preventive, and contraceptive care to eligible patients.

  • Perform clinical screening and treatment for communicable diseases, including STDs and Hepatitis C.

  • Provide patient education focused on disease prevention and recommended immunizations.

  • Follow health department guidelines, protocols, and program recommendations.

  • Participate in county and regional activities as requested by supervisors.

  • Maintain professional development requirements established by the Tennessee Board of Nursing.

  • Provide services at alternate health department locations when required.

Requirements

  • Master of Science in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialty.

  • Valid, unrestricted Tennessee APRN and RN licenses.

  • Current Family Nurse Practitioner certification through a national credentialing organization such as ANCC or AANP.

  • Primary care experience preferred.

  • Valid Tennessee driver's license.

  • Reliable transportation for occasional travel between health department locations.
