You will install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipes, and electrical systems at site.You will:Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment and troubleshoot and repairDismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.Discusses machine operation variations with operators, supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.Troubleshoot and install electrical equipment, 4-20ma, 24vac, 90vdc, single and 3-phase up to 480v, VFD, PLC, Servo Drive, Encoder, Proximity Switch, laser sensors.Maintains TPM program from factory equipment.Installs, programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllersInstalls and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.Makes emergency repairs when necessary to limit excessive downtime and production delays.Sets up and operate machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures, and tools. Operates cutting torch, welding equipment to cut and fabricate items.Coordinates material requisitions needed for each project.Follows all 5S practices and supports lean activities, as well as safety regulations policies and procedures.Works to reduce equipment down time.Troubleshoot electrical controls, PLC, Servo controls, Temperature controls, EncodersRepairs and maintains physical structure of establishmentFacilitates the training of maintenance techniciansKey Qualifications:High School diploma/GED1 – 3 years of maintenance experienceMust be able to stand and work 10 hours a dayMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Be able to set up and operate basic, manual metal fabrication machinesBe able to utilize calibrated precision measuring instrumentsBe able to read and interpret blueprintsBe able to use precision measuring toolsBe able to read and write to comply with written instructions and complete departmental paperworkBe proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, TeamsShift/Hours:1st shift hours Monday through Thursday from 5am – 3:30pm OT on Friday.Must be open to working overtime if needed on FridayThis is a temporary position with the potential to transition to permanent status after 90 daysCompensation:The hourly pay range for this role is: $32.00 - $37.00/hr.
