Job Description
BEUMER Corporation seeks a Senior Project Manager in Somerset, NJ to lead and manage large-scale Logistics System projects, and develop and execute project strategies that meet each project's required performance, schedule, and profitability targets. Requirements: At a minimum, a U.S. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Financial Management, or a related field, or the foreign degree equivalent; 5 years' progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation; experience with end to end systems integration delivery across warehouse automation/material handling (e.g., conveyors, sortation, AS/RS, AMRs) and enterprise platforms, including ERP/WMS/WCS/WES/MES touchpoints, interface design, and integration testing with internal and third party systems; experience with technical program leadership across engineering and IT domains, aligning mechanical/electrical/controls (PLC/SCADA/HMI) with software and infrastructure teams, managing integrators and OEMs through design reviews, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and go live stabilization; experience with solution definition capability, producing functional specs (FRS), technical/interface specs (IRS), data mapping, message sequencing, and process models (swim lanes/BPMN), translating operational flows into system logic, exception handling, and controls narratives; experience with structured delivery and change governance, applying Waterfall/Agile/hybrid as appropriate—driving cutover plans, phased deployments, parallel runs, rollback contingencies, change control (CRs), and traceability from requirements → design → test → deployment; and experience with disciplined project controls and technical risk management, maintaining integrated master schedules, dependency maps/critical path, risk & issue registers, RACI, and quality gates; leveraging MS Project/Jira/Smartsheet to track milestones, defects, non conformances, SLAs, and deliverables to closure. Applicants must also be willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 35% of the work schedule, which may include repeated long-term (3-10 weeks) assignments at unanticipated work locations based on business needs. Salary: $155,854/yr. Eligible for discretionary annual bonus.
