Celebrity Chef Alex Guarnaschelli's new restaurant on the Upper West Side of NYC is looking for available and talented line cooks. We are excited to welcome a dependable and detail-oriented Porter/Dishwasher with experience in a caf, restaurant, or food-service environment. This individual has a strong understanding of kitchen sanitation and safety standards, along with a hospitality-driven mindset and commitment to delivering excellent customer service. • Dishwashing & Dish Area Operations
• Waste Removal & Recycling
• Equipment Cleaning & Support
• Facility Upkeep & Maintenance Support

Qualifications

• 2+ years of porter and/or dishwasher experience in a caf, restaurant, or food service environment.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization.
• Basic understanding of kitchen sanitation, safety standards, and Department of Health (DOH) guidelines.
• Ability to maintain an organized and clutter-free dishwashing and kitchen area.
• Strong work ethic; well-organized, reliable, and focused.
• Dependable and punctual with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and follow instructions.
• Demonstrates professionalism and respect toward colleagues, managers, and vendors.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., and stand, bend, and reach for extended periods (up to 8-hour shifts).

Location: Clara, 170 Central Park West, New York, NY 10024

Schedule: Full-time, On-Site

Base salary: $20.00/hour
