The primary focus will be on monitoring, controlling, and improving existing manufacturing processes and equipment, to ensure customer and business needs are met.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide operational technical support for existing applications and processesCollaborate with operations, quality, engineering, and maintenance to solve issuesTroubleshoot problems with other technical employees, suppliers, and outside expertsBecome the SME on specialty processes on supported linesDrive corrective action through root cause identification and structured problem solvingCreate training tools, documents, and standard operating procedures for production processesProvide training, instruction, and guidance to production associatesPartner with the Safety group to ensure all new or modified processes meet or exceed corporate safety requirementsParticipate in continuous improvement activities and eventsPresent technical information or proposals to team membersAccurately assess ergonomic conditions within the manufacturing environment and provide practical solutions to eliminate ergonomic riskConduct testing related to introducing product improvements into the manufacturing processResponsible for supporting the implementation and stabilization of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:2-year degree in technical field or equivalent experience5+ years of manufacturing experienceDemonstrated knowledge of lean manufacturing and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principlesStrong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skillsCommunicate effectively through written, verbal, listening, and presentation skillsKnowledge of 2D & 3D solid modeling preferred (AutoCad/Inventor)NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:General PLC and CNC Programming KnowledgeStrong math, science, mechanical and experimental skills.
