Quick Facts Location: Duluth, MN Start Date: 06/30/2026 End Date/Duration: Ongoing Shift: Flexible shifts, scheduled per case needs (scheduled cases priority; call availability valuable) Hours/week: Variable Employment Type: Contract / Locum License/Certs: MN RN & CRNA license; BLS, ACLS Experience: 2+ years of anesthesia experience in surgical settings Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: Based on experience, starting at $1.00/hour (note: rate may vary; pay package discussed upon application) Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Licensure, travel, and certification reimbursements when applicable Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws 24/7 dedicated support team at VHS What You’ll Do Provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures in a Level 2 trauma setting Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams to develop and implement anesthesia plans Manage anesthesia for scheduled cases, including pediatric ENT and outpatient surgeries Support emergent cases, call shifts, and on-call duties as needed Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient safety throughout procedures Assist with perioperative patient assessment and recovery What You Need Required: MN RN and CRNA licenses BLS and ACLS certifications Minimum 2 years of anesthesia experience, preferably in trauma or surgical environments Ability to work independently in a supervised model Preferred: Pediatric anesthesia experience, especially in ENT and outpatient surgery Willingness to take call and participate in flexible scheduling Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment This position is situated in a leading Duluth hospital that handles a wide range of surgical cases, including trauma, outpatient, and specialty procedures.
