CFO/Controller

The CFO is responsible for the oversight of the Company’s financial operations, including but not limited to financial reporting and analysis, accounting management, department employee management, internal controls and compliance, budgeting and forecasting, and other responsibilities. This is a Hands‑on, On‑site position. Financial Reporting and Analysis Design and oversight of the Company’s processes to prepare and issue periodic and annual financial statements prepared in accordance with (US GAAP). Monitor and report on benchmarks, KPIs and other operating metrics including cash, working capital, profit margins, costing reports, etc. Coordinate the annual audit of the Company’s financial statements. Accounting Process Management Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives. Coordination and collaboration with plant managers, purchasing and other departments Oversight of the general ledger and closing process. Ensure that inventories are accurately recorded and accounted for including valuation, cycle counts, physical inventory processes and overhead analysis. Ensure that required debt payments are made on a timely basis. Employee Management Manage all employees in the Accounting Department, including hiring and training Work with HR regarding oversight of payroll processing and payroll tax deposits, compliance reporting, etc. Internal Controls and Compliance Develop, maintain and monitor internal controls to support the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting and safeguarding assets. Coordinate and monitor compliance activities with the Company’s Bank, including: Coordination of compliance with banking requirements for the Company’s credit facilities Compliance and reporting of debt covenants. Compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings, including state and Federal income, payroll withholding and sales taxes, ERISA requirements, including coordination with outside CPAs and tax consultants. Budgeting and Forecasting Design and management of the budgeting and forecasting process and models. Manage budget and forecast data from various departments within the organization. Present and review the budget and forecast with upper management. Determine variances from the budget and reporting to management. Other Provide financial analyses for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations. Coordinate and assist with monitoring risk management activities related to annual insurance coverages and renewals. Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business administration. 10+ years of progressively responsible experience, preferably in manufacturing or related industry, where Inventory control is essential Highly computer proficient with experience in MS Office Suite (Access and Excel), and ERP systems. #J-18808-Ljbffr
