Nurse PractitionerLocation: San DiegoSchedule 8-hour workday; no weekends; no nights; no callSalary, Full-timePosition Summary: In collaboration with the physicians, the Nurse Practitioner (NP) assumes clinical responsibility for tasks performed within the NP's scope of practice. This includes taking patient's history, performing physical examinations, ordering appropriate diagnostic tests, establishing diagnosis and providing care and management for vascular surgery patients. Expected to take part in office based patient evaluations, follow-ups and coordinate care with various other entities (i.e. home health, wound care centers, imaging centers, medical equipment suppliers, etc). Expected to perform in-hospital evaluations to include initial consultations, follow-ups, rounding, and discharging. (Varicose Veins, Sclerotherapy, Vein Ablations).Board Certification as a Nurse PractitionerBilingual (English/Spanish)Compensation:Base salary: $165,000-$180,000 annuallyProductivity bonus based on: New Patient Volume, Collections or RVU's,CME allowance
