Birch Creek Post Acute & Rehabilitation offers around-the-clock skilled nursing in a residential setting. Our community features an outdoor recreation area, a patio garden, a rehab gym, a beauty/barber shop, a library, pastoral support, and transportation services. Large 1000 sqft gym space at south end of building with lots of windows/natural light, ADL Bathroom and Kitchen/Laundry training spaces, OmniVR: 3-D virtual reality system used for strengthening, balance, endurance, coordination, and cognitive skills development. Tacoma, WA is a beautiful port city along the banks of the Puget Sound and just 32 miles southwest of Seattle. Qualifications: Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy (PT) college or university. Valid Physical Therapy (PT) license for state practicing. Conduct Physical Therapy assessments of referred patients providing direct patient care to assess medical conditions, functional capabilities, limitations, and potential for rehabilitation. Proficient in EMR documentation (we use PCC but experience in this system is not required). CPR Certification. Salary/Wage Range: Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
