Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacist for a travel contract position in Reno, NV. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Pharmacist to work in a dynamic environment where you will be instrumental in ensuring the effective provision of pharmaceutical care.

Key responsibilities of the Pharmacist include:
- Accept and dispense prescription medications
- Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns
- Ensure that the supply of medicines is within the law
- Ensure that the medicines prescribed to patients are suitable
- Accurately maintain confidential records of all patients
- Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications
- Advise patients about medicines, including how to take them and possible reactions
- Provide patient services such as smoking cessation, blood pressure, and cholesterol management
- Educate patients on proper handling of medical devices
- Compound medications for external or internal use
- Prepare sterile solutions
- Supervise pharmacy staff
- Maintain appropriate inventory on pharmaceutical and medical supplies
- Identify and communicate patient drug-related problems
- Collaborate with healthcare practitioners
Requirements of the Pharmacist include:
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree required
- Licensed by the state pharmacy board
