Financial Analyst I (Federal Consulting)

Financial Analyst I (US - Washington DC) Sikich is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst. This role is contingent upon award of contract. Responsibilities Provide financial analytical support for federal programs and initiatives Integrate business, cost estimating, and financial management processes Develop strategic financial plans and cost estimates Translate funding requirements into executable budgets Assess procedures for compliance with government regulations and accounting principles Support multi-tiered financial system applications and standards Experience with activity-based costing, business case analysis, and outsourcing requirements preferred Support transaction processing, research, tracking, and documentation Assist with client workflows to ensure efficient and accurate operations Perform reconciliations and compliance-focused reviews Organize and validate financial data Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Support day-to-day financial operations and reporting activities Qualifications On-site in Washington, DC daily Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field Minimum 4 years of experience supporting federal financial management processes Federal employee or federal contractor experience preferred Strong communication and software application skills Knowledge of federal financial processes, systems, and internal controls preferred Pay Transparency In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the midpoint of the salary range for this role is $86,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
