Production Control CoordinatorThe Production Control Coordinator will report to the Production Control Manager & Operations Analyst and will manage all aspects of MASABA's manufacturing operations to surpass customer expectations. The Production Control Coordinator will manage the people, processes and the output of the following departments: Saw, Small Parts, Fabrication, Welding & Fabrication, Paint, General Assembly, shipping and scheduling. The Production Manager will develop, measure and report key metrics regarding operational efficiency, scheduling accuracy, quality, safety, labor utilization and scrap. The Production Manager will also be responsible for continuous improvement activities and process improvement. The Production Control Coordinator will also:Analyze and communicate work procedures to identify and mitigate hazardsEnsure safety operating procedures are in place and are observedEnsure individuals working have proper safety equipment and personal protective equipment to perform their work safelyHire, counsel and terminate personnel as required in concert with HR department and all applicable US lawsCurtail or stop work being carried out if reasonably believed that continuation of the work poses an imminent danger to health or safetyJob DutiesPlan, schedule resources and supervise the production processOversee plant operations and maintenance to ensure compliance with applicable operating and safety standards & regulationsDevelop / refine performance measuresSupervise and document individual performance of team leaders and support staffDevelop and implement approved operating plansIdentify and mitigate process inefficiencies to improve cost, quality and deliveryDrive premium quality in all components and equipment producedEnsure employee follow all applicable safety and security procedures and use equipment and materials properlyEnsure work orders processed through MRP systemAbility to climb, bend, kneel, crouch or stoop to perform various functions of the positionAbility to reach with hands and armsAbility to work independentlyMust be able to read and understand EnglishAbility to lift and/or move up to 50 poundsAbility to work standing on hard surface (e.g. concrete) for long periods of time in hot or cold environmentGood hand and eye coordinationGood visual acuityMust be able to read and interpret basic blueprintsMust be able to perform basic shop math functions and use standard measuring devicesOther duties as assignedWork Experience RequirementsMinimum of six years experience in manufacturing, process flow, scheduling and people managementWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Working knowledge of MRP / ERP methodologyWorking knowledge of lean manufacturing and 5 pillarsDecisive and confident management style with a proven ability to bring about intra-departmental cooperation and successMonday - Thursday 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM with one hour lunch Friday 6:00 AM - 12:0 PM
