Licensed Practical Nurse

Role Description The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Avir Health Group will provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs, administering medications, performing basic clinical procedures, and monitoring patient status. This full-time, on-site role in Itasca, TX involves implementing nursing care plans under the supervision of a registered nurse or provider, documenting patient information accurately, and supporting safe, evidence-based practices. The LPN will assist with admissions, discharges, and patient education, help coordinate care with the broader clinical team, and ensure adherence to infection control and safety standards. The role also includes communicating with patients and families, responding to patient needs in a timely manner, and contributing to a positive, respectful care environment. Qualifications Current, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Texas Demonstrated skills in direct patient care, including vital signs, medication administration, and basic clinical procedures Ability to accurately document patient information and follow established care plans and protocols Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams Knowledge of infection control, patient safety, and standard nursing practices in clinical settings Capacity to work full time on-site in Itasca, TX, including flexibility for varied shifts as needed Basic computer skills for electronic health record (EHR) documentation CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a respectful, inclusive approach to care Experience in outpatient, long-term care, or similar settings is preferred but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr
