Project Engineer
HiFyve is hiring a Project Engineer in the Commercial Construction industry in Columbus, OH!
Salary: $32/hr and up depending on experience
Shift: Full-Time, On-site
Location: Columbus, OH
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Manager with planning, timelines, billing, change orders, and collections to ensure successful project completion
- Review job cost, manpower, and change order reports and support monthly project financial analysis
- Communicate and coordinate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and clients
- Support manpower and equipment planning for active job sites
- Attend and participate in weekly job site visits and project meetings
- Assist with project setup, contract review, and ensuring accurate cost estimates and schedules of values
- Track submittals, generate purchase orders, and assist with subcontract and vendor negotiations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Knowledge of plumbing and piping installation practices
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Valid Driver's License required
- OSHA 10 Construction certification required
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
