Description

• Conduct detailed evaluations for patients in inpatient and outpatient environments, crafting tailored treatment plans to meet their unique needs
• Deliver hands-on physical therapy interventions focusing on enhancing mobility, building strength, and improving overall functional abilities
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, physicians, and case managers, to achieve optimal recovery outcomes
• Educate patients and their families about therapy objectives, home exercise regimens, and discharge processes
• Maintain accurate records of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress in accordance with established facility protocols
• Engage in team meetings and interdisciplinary rounds to ensure comprehensive patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution or equivalent

Certifications

• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is highly desirable
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., in geriatrics or neurological therapy) are welcomed

Skills

• Prior experience in a clinical setting strongly preferred
