Equipment Service Technician

We are searching for an Equipment Technician on 2nd shift to join our growing support team. The Equipment Technician will be responsible for supporting production equipment, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and helping ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently. Key responsibilities include: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment and machinery. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment. Respond to equipment issues and production downtime in a timely manner. Assist with equipment setup, adjustments, and changeovers as needed. Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues before they result in downtime. Work closely with production, maintenance, engineering, and other team members to resolve equipment-related problems. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area. Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment issues as required. Support continuous improvement efforts related to equipment reliability and production efficiency. Qualifications: Previous experience maintaining or troubleshooting manufacturing or production equipment is preferred. Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills are required. Electrical troubleshooting experience is a plus. Ability to read basic mechanical drawings, schematics, or technical documentation is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude. High school diploma or GED preferred; relevant technical or manufacturing experience may be considered.
