Job Description

The Insulator Technician will specialize in installing insulation and scaffolding primarily for industrial facilities. Working with a small team of 2-5 members, the technician will frequently travel to various job sites to prepare surfaces, cut materials, apply sealants, install insulation and handle scaffold erection and dismantling using manual tools. This role requires a hands-on approach and collaboration to ensure effective insulation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Install insulation on pipes, tanks, and other surfaces in industrial settings
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning and measuring before insulation application
• Cut insulation materials to specified dimensions accurately
• Apply sealants to ensure insulation integrity and moisture protection
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding as needed for access to work areas
• Collaborate effectively within a small team to complete projects
• Travel frequently to multiple job sites to support ongoing projects

Required Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in insulation installation
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience with scaffolding erection and dismantling
• Knowledge of pipe and tank insulation techniques
