Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:
The Cardiac Cath Lab Tech will provide specialized technical support in the cardiac catheterization laboratory, assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures. This role requires applying clinical skills to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes within a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assemble all necessary equipment and supplies for cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Assist physicians during invasive cardiac procedures, including diagnostics and interventions.
• Monitor patient vitals and ensure patient comfort throughout procedures.
• Maintain sterile techniques and adhere to infection control standards.
• Document procedures, patient information, and equipment usage accurately.
• Support compliance with safety protocols and assist in troubleshooting technical issues.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist certification or equivalent credential.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of experience working in a cardiac catheterization lab.
• Exhibit proficiency with imaging equipment and invasive cardiovascular procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure clinical setting.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Maintain current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
