Position Summary
The role of Client Support Specialist I is vital to the success of the warehouse operations. This individual provides support to a limited number of assigned customers and to the Client Care Manager and team. This individual also serves as the liaison between the client and operations and is the principle point of contact for the client. The Client Support Specialist I must understand client expectations while partnering with operations to ensure outstanding service.
This individual is also responsible for providing operational support at one of eShipping Distribution Service’s warehouse locations to ensure efficient and timely pick-up and delivery, handling of customer orders, and shipments.
Daily responsibilities and activities include order and inventory management, customer service, data entry, billing, report generation and analysis, internal and external communications, Amazon portal routing, and miscellaneous administrative duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
• Provide customer service and operational support for the distribution centers
• Maintain an open line of communications with customers
• Research shipment tracking requests and provide feedback, including resolution of misplaced orders and shipments
• Take responsibility for basic technology needs, including user skills with a variety of Microsoft Office software programs
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks, working with remote Subject Matter Experts to ensure operational efficiencies
• Handle internal communications with Business Development/Sales, Integrations, and Information Technology personnel to resolve customer problems
• Provide support to the Client Care Manager and team
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Education and Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent

• Cognitive/Mental Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to comprehend and use basic language, either written or spoken, to communicate simple and complex information, ideas, and information. The employee is also required to use logic to define problems, collect information, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, interpret information, and deal with abstract variables for unique or unfamiliar situations. The employee must use problem-solving skills to formulate and apply appropriate courses of action for routine or familiar situations. The employee may be required to perform numerical operations including basic counting, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing or more complex quantitative calculations.
• Work Environment: This position is primarily performed in a temperature-controlled office, with up to 40% work-from-home as an option.
