In this role, you will assistphysicians during cardiac catheterization procedures, operatespecialized equipment, and provide high-quality patient care.Assignments are available in hospitals and specialty cardiaccenters, offering competitive pay, flexibility, and career growthopportunities. Responsibilities Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining processes, monitoring vitalsigns, and ensuring safety. Operate and maintain Cath Lab equipment, including fluoroscopy and hemodynamicmonitoring systems. Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, responding promptly to emergencies. Maintain sterile techniques and ensure compliance with safety protocols. Accurately document procedures, patient data, and equipment use. Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff to provide optimal patient care. Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives. Requirements Associate’s degree or certificate in cardiovascular technology, radiology, or related field. RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT certification preferred. State license as required. BLS and ACLS certification. 1–2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting preferred. Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and interventional procedures.
