Senior Therapeutic Specialist, Oncology

Senior Therapeutic Specialist, Oncology (Northern New Jersey territory) Key Responsibilities Represent Gilead products/services to a defined customer base; generate and grow sales and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets within the assigned geographic area. Build relationships with healthcare practices; deliver disease awareness information, clinical updates/education, and healthcare changes. Synthesize complex clinical concepts for diverse audiences; use strong presentation and communication skills; demonstrate a proven record interacting with healthcare professionals. Develop and execute a territory business plan; monitor sales progress and create action plans. Prepare territory budgets for customer contacts, unrestricted educational grants, speaker events, and other external expenditures. Partner with Medical Scientists, National Account Managers, Therapeutic Center Specialists, Marketing, and other internal teams (and co‑promote with outside partners as applicable). Report adverse events; perform required administrative duties (call reporting, expenses, etc.). Adhere to regulatory and company policies and business ethics. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma + 11+ years; OR Associate’s + 9+; OR Bachelor’s + 7+; OR Master’s + 5+. Valid driver’s license. Travel and onsite visitation of healthcare practitioners as required. Preferred Qualifications BA/BS; 4+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare sales. Superior selling skills in competitive markets; track record meeting or exceeding sales objectives (specialty markets preferred). Prior product launch experience. Compensation/Benefits Salary range: $153,935.00–$199,210.00; may include annual bonus, long‑term incentives, paid time off.
