Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Days | Monday through Friday | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises and functional mobility training
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility standards
• Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status
• Adhere to all facility policies, including identification and badging requirements while on site

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of New Mexico
• Current state or federal issued photo identification required on site at all times
• Active NM Caregivers account or eligibility to obtain one prior to assignment start
• Ability to fulfill a 36-hour weekly guarantee across a Monday through Friday schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting
• Familiarity with New Mexico state compliance and registry requirements for healthcare personnel
