About the Role

The Company is seeking a Treasurer, Finance Chair to join its Board of Directors and provide strategic financial leadership. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining the organization's financial health, sustainability, and accountability, particularly during a period of growth and increased national visibility. This role is pivotal in upholding the company's mission, which is deeply rooted in environmental and climate justice, with a focus on community-centered programming that addresses the needs of those most affected by the climate crisis. As the Treasurer, Finance Chair, the primary responsibilities will include overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and reporting, as well as ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and best practices. The role demands a high level of integrity, transparency, and a commitment to the values of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, or a related field, and experience in nonprofit financial management is highly desirable.
