Job Title : Cath Lab Technician, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
schedule: 4- 10-hour shifts, on call 1 night per week and every 5th weekend
Shift: Full Time Days
Sign on Bonus : $15,000
Position Summary
Provides direct and indirect patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
Essential Functions:
- Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/healthcare errors.
- Ability to formulate an individualized plan of care, revise plan as indicated by the patient's response to treatment, and evaluation overall plan daily for effectiveness.
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, provider, patient and family following chain of command as appropriate.
Education/ Certification
- Current ARRT or RCIS certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Accepting candidates - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Cath Lab Technicians
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire or transfer into the position required.
- Associate’s degree from Radiological Technology program required. Education requirements may be waived in exchange with equivalent years of Cath Lab Tech experience
