COOK SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME)

Location and Schedule Jessup University – 2121 University Avenue, Rocklin, CA 95765. Schedule: Full time; Friday through Tuesday, 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM (details upon interview). Pay Range: $23.00–$25.00 per hour. Job Summary Directly supervises food‑service associates in accordance with policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of cooking experience. Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience. Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline associates; address complaints and resolve problems. Advise management on purchasing requirements to minimize waste and avoid shortages. Use approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality, correct serving temperatures, and portion control. Operate and clean equipment in accordance with department procedures after each use. Store, label, date food items per policy; maintain rotations to minimize spoilage. Follow HACCP guidelines to assure food safety. Operate food‑service equipment safely per policies. Assist in serving meals; remain present during scheduled meal periods to receive customer feedback. Perform other duties as assigned.
