Job Title: Security Defender Consultant About the Role: As a Defender Suite Customer Engineer, you will provide expert advisory services to enterprise customers across the full Defender XDR portfolio and Entra ID. This advisory role focuses on planning, optimization, and Zero Trust alignment without direct implementation, helping customers achieve mature cybersecurity postures through Cybersecurity Reference Architecture (MCRA) principles. Required Skills: Experience Level: Senior to expert level across Defender suite (MDE, MDI, MDO, MDA, MDC, MDVM) and Entra ID. Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of Defender for Endpoint deployment strategies (GPO/Intune/Azure Arc), Entra ID PIM/Conditional Access, Azure Policy, endpoint hardening (ASR/WDAC), and KQL for advanced hunting/analytics. Enterprise Focus: Proven advisory experience guiding Fortune 500 customers on Zero Trust maturity and MCRA alignment. Consulting Experience: Customer-facing roles delivering workshops, assessments, and technical guidance. Analytical Skills: Strong capabilities in cross-domain threat correlation and security architecture design. Communication: Executive stakeholder engagement and training delivery expertise. Responsibilities: Guide enterprise customers on Defender XDR integration across endpoints, identity, email, SaaS apps, and cloud workloads Advise on Azure Arc-enabled Defender for Servers deployment and hybrid cloud security governance Provide expert recommendations for Entra ID PIM, Conditional Access optimization, and identity lifecycle management Deliver workshops on endpoint hardening strategies (ASR rules, Network Protection, Tamper Protection, WDAC) Recommend MDVM remediation workflows, Sentinel integration, and continuous security posture improvement Desired Skills: Purview for DLP/compliance integration Multi-cloud security (AWS/GCP CSPM/CWPP via Defender for Cloud) Advanced threat hunting with KQL and Sentinel SOAR Auth app governance, Shadow IT discovery, and risk-based access controls Location: Remote Salary Range: The salary for this positionis between$110K-120K annually.
