We are seeking a dedicated Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about patient care. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for both experienced assistants and those looking to grow in the orthodontic field.

Pay

$20~$26 per hour

Requirements

• Basic life support
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Certified Orthodontic Assistant

Orthodontic or dental assisting experience (minimum 1 year preferred)
CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Proficiency in computer skills and electronic record-keeping
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Reliable transportation to Winnetka, IL 60093 (office is steps from Hubbard Woods Metra Station)

Job Description

Assist orthodontists with patient procedures, including braces adjustments, impressions, and appliance placement
Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized workspace
Take and develop dental X-rays and other diagnostic imaging
Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
Manage patient records and update charts with accuracy
Support front office tasks, including scheduling and billing, as needed
Ensure a comfortable and positive experience for every patient

Shift & Schedule

Monday: 9 AM – 6 PM
Tuesday: 8 AM – 5 PM
Wednesday: 8 AM – 4 PM
Thursday: 8 AM – 5 PM
Friday: 8 AM – 1 PM
Weekends: Closed
