At C&S, We Select the Best® – those with the motivation, pride, and drive to succeed in our fast-paced world.Job DescriptionWarehouse Selectors pick, gather & organize product and prepare orders for delivery to local grocery stores (our customers). Individuals interested in staying active & fit while earning above-average income are the best fit for the job.The job includes:Picking various items by using order sheets or an audio headsetStacking items on a pallet for wrapping and loading at the bay doorsEnsuring accuracy to orders while adhering to our safety standardsOperating an electric pallet jack to remove cases of products from storage rack & place on pallet and apply selection labels to appropriate cases (not in all cases)Utilizing proper wrapping techniques to ensure safety of product to prevent damagesInforming Supervisor of any differences in case quantity and/or descriptionPerforming equipment inspections & completion of appropriate formsFrequent safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levelsHaving the ability and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating proceduresPhysical Job Requirements:Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shiftWalking between 6-12 miles per day on various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or moreFrequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overheadPossibility of working on multiple levels of varying heightSafe handling of sharp objects including box cutting toolsYour work environment may include:Grocery (dry goods) – about 50°- 90°Perishable (Refrigerated) – about 28°- 60°Frozen – about -20° - 0°QualificationsThis program is available to individuals who are authorized to work in the United States or if you have relocated to the US through one of the following approved channels - Humanitarian Parole, Refugee status, or Temporary Protected Status (TPS) - we will support and assist in obtaining the necessary Employment Authorization Document (EAD).Additional requirements include:Bilingual- English or SpanishAuthorized to work prior to your first day of employment.Additional InformationWe offer:Full-time EmploymentPaid TrainingTemporary HousingTransportationEnglish & Financial Literacy TrainingHourly pay, starting at $18+/per hour while training (varies by location)Medical, Dental & Health Benefits Available From Day 1Paid Time Off & Holiday PayWeekly Pay & MoreRelocation will also be provided for you to one of the following locations:Aberdeen, MDBaldwin, FLChester, NYMiami, FLPearl City, HIPlant City, FLWestfield, MAYork, PABy completing the application, your information will be sent to the C&S Talent Acquisition Department.
