High-Reach Forklift Operator, Cold Chain
It’s 6:00 AM and you’re powering up your reach truck for a smooth first pull. Pallets are queued, the cooler is humming, and your precision keeps production on track for a growing food manufacturer in Niles, IL. If you know high-bay racking like a second language and take pride in safe, accurate moves, this role was built for you.
What your day looks like- Navigating a reach truck safely to move, store, and retrieve materials across the warehouse
- Picking individual cases and full pallets with accuracy and care
- Loading and unloading product; staging and slotting inventory in assigned locations
- Pitching in with warehouse and production needs to keep operations flowing
- Following food safety and general warehouse safety procedures without compromise
- Keeping aisles, equipment, and work areas clean and orderly
- At least 2 years of hands-on reach truck experience
- Reliable attendance and a consistent work record
- Comfort working in a cooler environment
- Ability to lift and pick individual cases up to 50 lbs
- Sharp focus on safety and accuracy
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Starting pay: $22.00 – $23.00 per hour
- Pay frequency: Weekly
- Full-time hours with a long-term opportunity
