Benefits for Licensed Pratical Nurses (LPN): Health/Dental Insurance Vacation Pay Sick Pay Holiday Pay 401k with Match Qualifications for Licensed Pratical Nurses (LPN): Must be licensed (in good standing) as an LPN in the State of Illinois. Must possess a current CPR Certification. Prefer 2-3 years nursing experience Essential Responsibilities for Licensed Pratical Nurses (LPN): Administer all medications, treatments, blood sugar monitoring and other medical care to residents as prescribed by the physician/psychiatrist, according to the facility’s specific policies and procedures. Provide emergency care services, as needed. Document in the patient’s medical record. Provide emotional support and counseling to all residents, as needed. Provide resident education regarding medications, treatments and other medical care, as needed. Notify physicians of abnormal resident condition, lab values, vital signs, behavior, incidents, and/or reactions to medications.
