Quality Analyst (Testing)

Job Overview Title: Quality Analyst (Testing) Location: Atlanta, Georgia 30303 On‑site / Remote / Hybrid: Onsite Duration: 2–6 months Interview Process: In Person Project Scope Must be local to Metro Atlanta. Onsite required. Previous DOL work experience preferred. Responsibilities Analyze business requirements and develop detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for Java programs on distributed platforms. Execute test program changes, update test files, run tests, review results, and ensure correctness of program changes based on provided requirements. Strong experience with database technologies such as Postgres and DB2, including queries and data verification. Hands‑on experience with Jira tool. Prepare both program‑level and user‑level documentation to support the software development lifecycle. Organize, manage and provide clear guidance to teams to reach testing goals and tight deadlines with candor, transparency, and collaboration. Required Experience/Skills Minimum of 5 years’ experience in testing Java programs. Proven experience with DB2 and Postgres. Solid understanding of the full software development life cycle, including writing, executing, and integrating test cases, and deployment. Ability to troubleshoot, test, and debug computer software to produce required outcomes. Strong analytical skills to support non‑database functions, correct data errors, and develop data analysis/summary reports. Experience in preparing comprehensive documentation for both program‑level and user‑level. Excellent communication skills to obtain user sign‑off on all changes prior to moving to production. Capability to follow organization guidelines and procedures for checking out source code, migrating changes, etc. Commitment to enhancing software for improved efficiency and reduced operating time.
